These Tsimane people are an indigenous tribe that lives in the Amazon rainforest in Bolivia. The doctors find the heart of the entire tribe was very healthy and that is why they are now looking into their lifestyle and their habits that keep their heart so healthy.

The tribe is engrossed in hunting, fishing, and foraging when it comes to the activities they are involved in. Now, the researchers are willing to find what are the effects these activities cause to heart health. The Lancet journal is where the study was published.

It was found out that the tribe has 5 times lesser risk of developing coronary atherosclerosis. This is the condition that stiffens the arteries of the heart and causes troubles like strokes and heart attacks.

An 80 years old person of the tribe had the same average heart condition that a normal 50 years old person living in the USA has.

If you are wise enough and do not wish to get into the trap of an unhealthy heart it is important for you to involve yourself in activities that are healthy and lively and makes you happy.
