While the severity of the injury remains unclear, we hope that Ford will make a full recovery as he did not long ago after getting crushed on the set for The Force Awakens back in 2014.

At that time, Ford was pinned to the ground by a massive hydraulic door. As a result, the actor suffered a dislocated ankle, a broken fibula, and a broken tibia.

Following the injury, the movie’s production company, Pinewood Studios, was fined $2 million for the incident that could have cost the actor his life.

While Ford may no longer be in his prime years, he is said to have taken up a challenging fitness regime in preparation for the shooting of Indiana Jones 5.

“It’s incredible. He seems to live a very strict routine. You can set your watch by the things he does at the same time every day. Regimented,” an insider said of the actor’s daily routine in an interview with The Mirror.

“It’s clockwork, very regimented. It’s wake up, lunch, a very long bike ride, then he’s at the film set from 6pm.

“He then arrives back at the hotel around 5am. That exercise and work regime would be punishment for a man half his age. It’s real dedication.”
