The first Monday of May has been synonymous in the Hollywood celebrity world as the Met Gala, with celebs shuffling their closets to get the best of their weird outfits and show them for all the world to see in fron of the Metropolitan Museum of Art for the charity event.
It was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, obviously, but Julia Roberts took to Instagram to wear what she might have worn in this year’s event, showing off her 52-year-old physique with a strapless gown on top, with the caption: ‘Here’s me…not going to the Met Ball tonight.’ She posed with a glass on her hand, elbow up on the windowpane while her tulle gown was flowering over the tub filled with bubbles. She added ‘#stayhome #yesyoustillhavetostayhome,’ to her caption. Julia Roberts has been in quarantine with her second husband Danny Moder and the three children between them – twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 15; as well as son Henry, 12.
