Disability Van Driver Blocks The Car In Handicap Spot Then The Owner Comes Out

A handicap spot is meant to be for the ones who have hard times traveling by themselves.

So, it is placed in the nearest spot in the parking lot of malls and stores.

Due to the convenience of the spot, some people who are not supposed to use the spot sometimes use it.

But it’s not only illegal but also careless because people who really need the spot would have to travel longer than they supposed to do.

In the video below, National Geographic does an experiment to arouse people to be aware of handicap parking spaces.

The video starts with a disability van trying to find illegally parked cars in the spots reserved for people in need.

At a Jack Allen’s Kitchen in Austin, Texas, an SUV is witnessed in front of the main door of the restaurant. The car doesn’t have the handicap placards but it was parked right in the handicap space.

When the owner of the SUV comes out of the restaurant, National Geographic team starts to teach her a lesson.

The disability van blocks her car and the passengers come out of the van very, very slowly to make the violator realizes her mistake.

Handicap parking lots are there for a reason. For the people who have hard times traveling, handicap spots are so precious.
