As Gwen Stefani performed for thousands of her fans in West Palm Beach, Florida, a sign caught her eye.

The sign, held by a hopeful mother, had something written on it, but Stefani couldn’t read it. The sign was passed up to Stefani on stage.

She read the sign out loud so the audience could hear it.

“My son was bullied from 1st to 5th grade. He would home every day upset, but he would go to his room, listen to your music and smile.”

Gwen Stefani continues to hug and talk to him as he has the world’s biggest smile.

Later Stefani posted about this moment on Facebook to share it with her fans. “About 3 years ago when things were hard in my life I prayed to God everyday that I could get a chance to use my gift that God gave me and make a difference in some way – last night this little guy was the answer to my prayers #zerotoleranceforbullies” her post said.
