It’s an accepted fact that babies are often finicky and moody. It’s not helped by the fact that their only means of communication is to wail out loud, often at the most inopportune times!

However, a mother always knows best and sometimes all that’s needed is a sweet mother’s voice to make everything right again.

That’s what we see in this video taken by mother Autumn Boyle as she sings to her daughter Amara. Taken two years ago in the United States, it shows baby Amara looking a little grumpy at the beginning of the video. In fact, Amara’s expression seems to be saying, “What do you think you’re doing?”

Autumn then starts singing “Sweet, sweet Spirit” which is a worship song.

“There’s a sweet, sweet spirit in this place…”

Amara is just looking at this point but she breaks into a wide grin as soon as she hears the next sentence, “And I know that it’s the spirit of the Lord.”

It’s almost as if she can understand the words her mother is singing. Either way, she continues to smile and giggle as she hears her mother sing.

It certainly helps that Autumn also has a good voice and is obviously singing with emotion.

It’s so wonderful to see how easily mother and daughter can bond and how a mother’s singing can easily brighten the day.
