Of course, a wedding day is one of the most special days in your life.
In the special day, the vow exchanging time of a wedding is definitely one of the most meaningful and important moments of the ceremony.
When the groom walked off the altar during his vows, everyone including the bride was in confusion. No one expected what would happen next.

No one at the wedding knew what he was going to do. The bride, guests, and even the priest didn’t know so everyone was worried and hard to predict what he would do next.
Thankfully, he was not leaving the wedding.
The reason he walked off the altar was not to leave the bride alone. He wanted to deliver a promise to another lady at the wedding, his stepdaughter.
The groom kneeled down in front of the little girl and started to make a promise.
“Just as I promised your mommy with a diamond, I had to get you one too,” he says. His voice was shaking and his hands were also shaking as he placed the necklace around his stepdaughter’s neck.

Then, he got back to the altar and was ready to continue the wedding. Since the bride didn’t know that her future husband would do such a thing for her daughter, she couldn’t help her tears back. She was so touched.
This is one of the most heartwarming wedding ceremonies that I have ever seen. It is easy to forget about sons and daughters in the wedding ceremonies because the wedding is for bride and groom. However, some children feel little awkward as they are welcoming another family member.
And this groom was very considerate to make his stepdaughter a part of the wedding.
