The bride and her sister, who was also supposed to be her bridesmaid, were at the wedding planner’s office during the early stages of preparing for the big event.
When the sister/bridesmaid had gotten pregnant, the future bride couldn’t contain her anger. Instead of being excited for the new member of the family and being happy for her sister, she threw a huge fit because the dress for the bridesmaid would have to be adjusted.
The two were screaming loudly that the wedding planner could hear their conversation from the other room. After being silent for some time, the sister said:
“We’ve been trying for three years. While the wedding may be your day, you knew what I was going through to get the chance to have a baby.”
What she said would have been enough for any person to calm down and just be happy for the wonderful miracle. After all, a child lasts longer than a wedding ceremony. But the bridezilla was not your average person!
“Well, then, I guess you can’t be in my wedding, because I don’t want to deal with the problems your pregnancy will cause,” she said before spitting at her sister.
The heartbroken sister walked out without saying anything. Of course, the wedding planner was disgusted with what she just saw but she had a work to do.
After a few months, the issue popped up again. The future bride and her mother were in a meeting with the wedding planner.
The mother suddenly received a phone call and she stepped out of the room. When she came back, it was evident she had been crying.
The bridezilla asked what happened, and the mother replied: “Your sister… she lost the baby.”
“My heart breaks for them,” the wedding planner said as her heart sank. “There is nothing I can say to take the pain away, and there are not enough tissues in the world to mop up my sympathetic tears that are about to come to the surface.”
You probably thought that everyone in the room felt heartbroken, but nope. The bridezilla actually had a different reaction!
“Oh. Well, I guess she can be in my wedding, then, since she’s not pregnant anymore.”
The wedding planner had a difficult time holding back her anger. “I have never seen something snap behind another person’s eyes before,” she wrote on Facebook. “It’s absolutely terrifying! [Bridezilla’s Mom] turns to me and speaks in this deadly soft, deadly calm voice:
“I’m so sorry to have wasted your time, but it looks as though I won’t be financing the wedding anymore. It looks like my daughter will be taking over paying for everything. I hope this doesn’t cause your business any trouble.”
The future bride started to panic and the only word that came out of her mouth was: “Mom?!”
When the groom heard about how terrible his bride was, he called off the wedding. He didn’t want to spend the rest of his life with that kind of person.
