A grandmother was pushed onto the subway tracks by a man who punched her family.
The 73-year-old grandmother was pushed onto the tracks in Brooklyn after her husband asked the man to stop smoking marijuana on the platform.
The weed-smoking attacker then punched the grandson, 30, and the grandfather, 82, in the face before shoving the grandmother onto the tracks.
According to reports, the family was waiting for a Manhattan-bound C train at the Clinton Washington station when the assailant approached them. The 30-year-old grandson then started arguing with him about his smoking.
Police said that the attacker punched the grandson and his grandfather in the face before pushing the grandmother onto the tracks.
Fortunately, the conductor saw the grandmother fall and managed to stop in time.
She was rushed to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital after sustaining injuries, the Daily News reported.
Her 82-year-old husband needed stitches to his head while their grandson was also hospitalized due to severe head injury sustained.
Authorities are now seeking the attacker who immediately fled the station. He is described as 25 to 30 years old, 200 pounds, 5’7 tall, with black hair, facial hair, and a light complexion.
