“He tells me he loves me, and I tell him I love him back,” the grandmother insisted despite her family warning her to stay away from her mysterious crush. “I see him, I see his whole body and everything, yep.”

Believing that she’s really talking to the Aquaman actor, the 72-year-old agreed to accept large sums of money and transfer them to another bank account.

“She doesn’t think she’s doing anything wrong. Of course, he’s telling her everything she wants to hear, she probably hasn’t heard in years, and of course he’s a celebrity,” the grandma’s son said.

According to the woman’s bank records, she received two deposits, including one for $50,000 and one for $30,000, from the scammer. She then deposited the suspicious sum to another bank account using the details he provided her with.

As the grandmother explained, her wannabe Hollywood star ‘boyfriend’ told her he wanted to keep his cash in a secret bank account because he’s going through a divorce. Moreover, he allegedly promised to use the cash to buy a new house for the pair.

As Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar confirmed, the relationship is obviously fake whereas the grandmother is “being scammed and used.”

“At some point somebody’s going to know that $50,000, $80,000 is gone from here and where did it go,” he added.
