A grandmother-of-17 grandmother and her toyboy lover got engaged despite their huge age gap.
61-year-old Cheryl McGregor from Georgia and 24-year-old Quran McCain first met when he was only 15.
Even though he is younger than one of Cheryl’s children, they say that they have great chemistry.
The couple also set up an Only Fans account to show people their sweet moments.
“Even though it is a huge age gap we never think of it because Cheryl has a very young spirit, soul and heart,” Quran shared.
“I think the biggest misconception is that I’m using her or waiting to be put in the will.”
Cheryl added: “It’s different, it’s amazing, he’s very compassionate to me and I think it’s because he’s a younger man.
“I couldn’t have that with anybody else, he’s very emotional and that’s something I’ve never dealt with – they were all angry and he’s emotional in a good way because he shows me he really cares.”
Cheryl and Quran first met when he worked at Dairy Queen in 2012.
Her son Chris was the manager and she would visit the branch to check on him or bring him a meal. There was no romantic involvement between Cheryl and Quran as he was only 15 at that time.
“We didn’t think much of each other – she drove a baby blue Carrera and that’s the only reason I noticed her,” Quran shared.
He then left his job and they lost communication until last year, when Quran went to a convenience store where the grandmother-of-17 was working.
The pair got closer and their friendship blossomed into a romantic one. “We connected on a spiritual level,” Quran expressed. “No matter the situation we just have a certain vibe that connects anytime we are around each other.
“We went on a date and I told her I feel like I’m catching feelings.
“She said she had too, but just didn’t think we should cross that line because friends don’t always stay friends when they date.”
They initially tried to stay friends but they couldn’t deny their strong feelings for each other.
“There’s just something between him and I that I never thought we would be together like this, he’s just an amazing person,” Cheryl said.
“There’s a different type of chemistry with him even though he’s younger, we have a lot of chemistry because of the things we’ve been through and it pulls us closer together.”
Cheryl is 8 years younger than Quran’s grandpa and 6 years younger than his grandma. Her youngest daughter is 3 years older than him.
“Nobody was accepting, everyone thought we were joking or thought it was all games,” Quran said.
“Some of her seven kids turned on her due to her dating a younger black man. She was very hurt. It hurt her because she raised them to not be like that.”
But Quran said that his family accepted as they could see how happy they were.
