A video of a grandfather painting his granddaughter’s nails after her surgery is winning the Internet.

20-year-old Ayla Winter-White had undergone reconstructive surgery. Her grandparents, 82-year-old Keith, and 76-year-old Margaret visited her at her home in Berkshire after the surgery.

Keith then painted Ayla’s nails and told her that he has been doing it for her grandmother for 30 years.

Ayla shared the heartwarming video on Twitter with the caption: ‘My grandparents came to look after me after my surgery and my granddad told me he wanted to make me feel better.’

‘He told me he’s been painting my Nan’s nails for 30 years and that he wanted to paint mine and I needed to share this.’

She added: ‘He also worships my nan and is her personal photographer, what more could a woman want in life ?’

The video instantly went viral and Internet users declared him ‘The Granddad of the year’.
