World has always recognized mother’s love and prioritized it over everything.
A father’s love and the bond with is children.
Whether it is being extra protective and possessive or teaching them life’s best principles, fathers give their significant contribution in raising the kids.
Father-daughter bond is something that cannot be explained through words.
Dan was a real example of a great father to his daughters. He was not an ordinary father, he truly loved his daughter with all he had.

His unconditional and unselfish love always left his family emotional. Dan was equally awed by people surrounding him. Described as a selfless and giving by the people who were closely related to him, Dan was a popular person in his neighborhood.
Apart from a kind and generous man, Dan was a skilled man. He used to make quilts and sewed gifts for his loved ones. According to his family member, he loved making handmade gifts for his people. His gifts were lovely and cherished by people.
In 2012, Dan lost his life to liver cancer. According to his family, Dan already knew that he was going to die. He knew that he won’t be able to see his daughter, Jamie, then nursing student, graduate in coming years.
Dan had high hopes with her daughter Jamie and believed that she will achieve her dreams and goals someday but he won’t be able to share her happiness. He knew Jamie qould miss her father on her graduation day.
He secretly started sewing a quilt for his daughter and wrapped it beautifully. Dan also wrote a beautiful card for Jamie, expressing his love for her.
He wrote in the letter that he is proud of his daughter and it too long for her to graduate. Dan hid his gift and asked the family member to keep mum about this until Jamie graduates.
The family kept the secret even after his death till the day of Jamie’s graduation. After three years of Dan, Jamie got hold of her father’s graduation gift for her. The moment she got hold of the present she burst into tears.
