Goldie Hawn confessed that she always knew Kate Hudson, her daughter, would handle everything.
Goldie revealed when she was in labor in 1979 with Hudson while going to the hospital in the car, the baby had kicked so hard in her vagina that she changed her baby’s name right away because she realized she was a tough one.
The 74-year-old actress said that she had named Kate ‘Rebecca’ but on the way to the hospital, she knew it was going to be Kate.
The close relationship of the ladies had strengthened even more after Kate gave birth to her three children – 16-years-old Ryder, 8-years-old Bing (from her previous relationships), and 18-months-old Rani Rose with Danny Fujikawa who is a musician.
The 41-years-old mother revealed that with Bing, it was really amazing because it had been the first time anyone from the family had a natural birth. While saying this, Kate looked at her mother and said that she had to be there.
Goldie replied that she was extremely happy to be invited to the room. The ladies then said that all of them expected Bing to be a girl.
Goldie added that she saw him taking birth and then saw his penis. After that, she wrapped Bing in a pink blanket she had been knitting while waiting for her grandchild.
When Kate was pregnant for the third time, she did not want any such surprises and wanted to be completely prepared before the arrival of the baby. She believed it was going to be a boy until they did a reveal and was stunned to know it was a girl.
When Kate gave birth to Rani Rose in October 2018, Goldie noted that she was right there and a little bit close. Hudson added in the end that every part of Rani’s birth was simply beautiful.
