We are living in a world where everything is judged on the basis of how it looks and not on what the reality is.
Rather than being friends in real life, people prefer having more and more followers on Instagram.
And when they are so crazy about Instagram, how can one think that people are not ready to take the craziest step possible just to have good, like really good pictures.
For Instagram users, it has become extremely important to look great all the time so that they can have perfect pictures for their feed. Be it while they are on a lunch date, in the pool, out in the park, in the gym, or literally anywhere.
But the trend went too far when women started hiring a makeup artist to look great hours before they go into labor to bring their child out in the world. And all for the sake of what? Good Instagram pictures my friend.
Recently a survey was taken where it was found out that about 68% of British women get their hair and makeup done while they are about to go in the labor or while they are already in labor. Alaha Karimi, an American makeup artist in 2016 took Instagram by surprise when she shared her pictures of doing her makeup while she was in labor.
The woman said that it was a really hard time for her and she wanted to look good and she wanted to feel great as well. Besides, she said that makeup also took the stress out of her mind and the pain went low too.
Another makeup artists as well as mom from Australia, Tegan Woodford shared a few pictures of giving makeup treatment to her sister in law while she was about to deliver her child.
She said “Getting your makeup done in such a time makes it all relaxed and great. It takes your mind off from the severe pain you are about to get.”
