Many people are working from home due to lockdown and they can all agree that online meetings can get pretty dull.

That’s why one farm in the US has decided to make online meetings more interactive and fun by giving employees and bosses a chance to have a llama or a goat lighten up video conference meetings.

The Sweet Farm in Silicon Valley is offering three options to have animals added into serious meetings.

The website reads: “Need a fresh face to brighten up your video conference meetings? Want a fun experience for an online Happy Hour? Looking for a virtual tour? The Sweet Farm Animal Ambassadors are here for you.”

For those who want a virtual tour of the farm, it costs $65 for up to six people. For a ten minute ‘Corporate Meeting Cameo’, it will set you back $100.

For a 25 minute ‘Corporate Meeting Virtual Tour’, you will have to pay $250.

And it’s not only llamas or goats that you can watch. You are also very welcome to request cows, turkeys, sheep, and pigs.

In an interview with Business Insider, the Sweet Farm cofounder Anna Sweet said she hopes the initiative can ‘connect people to where their food comes from.’

She added: “I think we’re all a little stressed with what’s going on, many of us have been sitting inside. We’re just hoping to bring some smiles to people’s faces, while bringing them out to the farm at the same time.”

Like other small businesses, the Sweet Farm was also forced to adapt after the Covid-19 outbreak hit. To replace the money they usually earn from visits, owners decided it would be great to invite people to join the animals online.
