Two 9-year-old girls were filmed jumping on the roof of a car, swearing and spitting at people and security guard in the car park.
The foul-mouthed girls caused ‘chaos’ at Westfield Helensvale shopping center when they spat and punched a security guard, who tried to stop them and calm them down.
According to the Queensland Times, the two girls threatened to attack shoppers and also shouted homophobic slurs.
“This is our car so get f***ed,” they shouted.
People filming the girls captured the moment a security guard attempted to calm them down and took one of their scooters. But one of the girl threatened: “If you take it I’ll bloody kill you. Give me my f***ing scooter.”
Janine Clelland, who saw the unbelievable behavior, said to the Gold Coast Bulletin that she saw the girls spit on the guard.
“Apparently these girls were foster care kids and rebelling against something,” she said to the paper.
“We saw these girls jumping on the roof and bonnet of the carer’s car. They were swearing and spitting at security and other people in the car park.”
Jonni Row, another witness, said: “They were just screaming ‘we know the law you can’t touch us’.”
They suddenly became quiet when police arrived and were placed in the back of a patrol car.
“Their tail was between their legs as soon as the cop car pulled up,” Ms. Row added.
One internet user commented: “Sometimes a good, hard slap is all kids like these need. Threats and a telling off doesn’t always work.”
Another wrote: “They are foster kids so I would think they are well used to being slapped. Violence does not cure bad behaviour all it does is makes the child even more aggressive.”
