11-Year-Old Girl Left Fighting For Life After Being Struck In The Face By A Stray Bullet


An 11-year-old girl was left clinging to life after a stray bullet struck her while she was on her way home.

Ny-Andra was sitting in her family’s car when they stopped at a gas station in Chicago.

But three men at the gas station started shooting at each other, and one of the bullets struck the young girl in the face.

Ny-Andra was rushed to the University of Chicago’s Comer Children’s Hospital with severe swelling in her brain, CBS Chicago reported.

Her mother said that the bullet lodged in the sixth-grader’s spinal cord and it was too close to an artery to be removed.

“I’m just asking everybody could you please keep us in your prayers, so my baby could just overcome?” the mother tearfully said. “I just needed a miracle.”

The mother was told that if the swelling in her daughter’s brain doesn’t go down in the next 72 hours, she might not survive.

“They messed her up. She will never be the same,” Ny-Andra’s mother expressed.

Cops are now looking for the suspects. Investigators said a 19-year-old man was seen exiting the convenience store at the gas station when two other men attacked him.

The man was shot three times, once in the left knee and twice in the pelvis. He then returned fire woth an assault-style rifle before entering his car and driving home.

Police found 16 shell casings at the scene.

Ny-Andra’s heartbroken mother addressed the people responsible for her daughter’s injury.

“And I’m just asking you, the shooter, please give me some closure for my baby. She didn’t deserve this,” she expressed.
