The video features Jadyn Rylee and Brayden Ryle from Toronto, Canada – both of whom are not your average youngsters.
Jadyn is a YouTube star with more than 200,000 thousand subscribers and over 38 million views on her videos.
And though the adorable blonde usually performs covers, the 12-year-old has recently been exploring originals. Her astonishing work has led many to believe that she would become a legendary singer in the years to come.
According to her YouTube channel, Jadyn has been singing since she was two years of age.
“My parents tell me that I started to sing as soon as I learned how to talk,” Jadyn said to Canadian Beats in an interview.
“At the age of three, I learned the hit song by Miley Cyrus called ‘The Climb’. That was when my family first realized that this might something that one day I would be good at.”
Despite her gifted voice and the passion for singing, Jadyn faced some difficulties in her journey. It was very difficult for her to find a vocal coach because no one was willing to take a student so young. But she finally managed to find a teacher at the age of 8.
Jadyn sings a variety of genres, but she specializes in classic rock, “anything from Metallica to Dolly Parton,” BBC reported last year.
With her exceptional talent, it wasn’t easy for Jadyn to find a singing partner – but she, fortunately, found Brayden Ryle, one of her friends.
Brayden himself has a myriad of skills as a piano player, singer, dancer and rapper. And when he joined hands with Jadyn, the result was truly magical.
Last year, the two of them were featured in an original song, “Only You,” shared by Jadyn on her YouTube channel.
“Also featured in ‘Beaches of Tofino’, this is Brayden’s second appearance but first vocal collaboration,” the description of the video explained.
“This song can be heard in many ways, but for Jadyn and Brayden it signified the immediate and strong friendship that they developed.”
In the video, Jadyn sings the beautiful lyrics in her magical voice with an unbelievable control on all the high and low notes. Brayden stays quiet for the entire verse, but as soon as Jadyn starts singing the chorus, he jumps in and adds more magic to the performance by a special touch.
“They were flawless,” Jadyn’s parents write in the video description. “They seemed so in tune with each other and knew exactly what to do.”
The video was viewed by millions of people across the globe who praised the youngsters for their impeccable skills and astonishing talent.
