Audrina Hatton-Wright, from Derby, was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer with one of the lowest survival rates in summer 2018.
Little girl’s parents, Gemma Gould and Zach Hatton-Wright trying their best to save their little girl’s life and endured all the heartache of Audrina’s painful treatments.
“In December she had surgery to remove her tumor and at the start of this year she had her most grueling treatment yet suffering through high dose chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant,” Gould wrote on Audrina’s webpage.
“This last treatment was absolutely heartbreaking as we watched our baby girl go through some horrific symptoms.”
Audrina endured four operations and five rounds of chemotherapy.
The 4-year-old girl was extremely happy to ring the bell at Nottingham Radiotherapy Centre after eight months of grueling treatment. Audrina marched down the hospital hallway wearing Star Wars stormtrooper costume and Darth Vader’s theme song, “The Imperial March,” played in the background.
Hospital staff also got involved and cheered Audrina on waving lightsabers.
“It was all her idea,” Gould told SWNS, KTBC reported. “She’s seen all the movies and has all the ‘Star Wars’ Build-A-Bears. I am incredibly proud.”
‘She’s been brilliant, she’s always full of beans. It’s been a long haul but she’s kept us both going.’
The story of brave Audrina reached to Mark Hamill and he himself sent a personal message to the girl and her family wishing her recovery.
He tweeted: ‘’Please give brave Audrina my love & best wishes for a complete recovery & a l-o-n-g healthy life!

Audrina is still not completely healed. Her family is raising money for specialist treatment in the US to help prevent a relapse.
‘We are fundraising for specialist treatment in the US that helps prevent relapse called DFMO,’ reads the family’s GoFundMe page.
“It is imperative Audrina receives this treatment to ensure her cancer does not return and she can finally get back to living a normal life and enjoying her childhood,” her campaign page reads.
