A young girl with a rare, invisible disorder was thrilled as she was surprised by her favorite singer who has the same condition as her.

8-year-old Lily Allison from Loveland, Colorado, is an adorable girl who lives with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that causes chronic pain and overly flexible joints.
In a touching Facebook video, the girl and her mother, Makayla, asked singer Mandy Harvey if she would be willing to have a playdate with the 8-year-old.
“I want to sing in the Miss Amazing Pageant, and I can’t sing in front of a crowd. And since I and you – you and me have Ehlers-Danlos, I think you could teach me to be a little braver and I want a playdate,” Lily told Mandy, who suffers from the same condition as her, in the video.
Previously, 31-year-old Harvey rocked the stage of America’s Got Talent after explaining that her disorder cost her her hearing. However, it couldn’t stop her from following her passion for singing.
Two years after Lily’s video went viral, the girl was finally able to meet Mandy in person thanks to a surprise playdate.
When Lily saw her favorite singer standing at her doorstep she couldn’t contain happiness and tears of joy.
“Hi! How are you? We get to hang out a little bit today. Is that OK?” Mandy greeted Lily.
According to Makayla, the pair spent hours playing with each other and singing and formed a strong bond.
“When I was 8 years old, I didn’t have anybody in my life who even had any of these barriers. And so, for a very long time, I just felt crazy. It makes the experience feel more manageable because your focus in not on the things that break,” Mandy said.
“I do really like that there are people out there with it,” Lily replied. “And I love you, and that you’re here right now in my house!”
