It was last year when little Lilli woke up with her eyes crossed. After many doctor appointments, it was discovered that the young girl has optic pathway glioma. The condition may result in loss of sight if not treated.

Optic pathway can be treated but given the circumstances, it wasn’t possible to perform surgery, so Lilli’s doctors decided to prescribe chemo treatments.

Brave Lilli dresses up as a princess to every treatment, and different gown each chemo. She wore around 30 dresses so far, most of which she simply called ‘princess gowns.’

She also dressed up as Disney princesses, like Cinderella, Ariel and Belle. She has been to so many treatments wearing different gowns that nurses and doctors started greeting her by saying ‘Your Majesty.’ She also receives lots of compliments!

The treatments are showing positive results and the tumors around the optic nerves have decreased in size. There is no doubt that Lilli is an inspiration!
