The woman regarded as contagious after she got a mystery allergy which caused her face swelling, chronic exhaustion, and daily hives. This allergy worries her as she wishes to go to her dad’s wedding.
Shauna Campbell who is 21 years old hailing from Dublin Ireland had red patches on her skin which according to her were caused by washing detergent. As time passed her patches which were similar to an allergic reaction got worse.

These are not only red patches but they also leave a burning sensation along with itching and pain. These red patches make her eyes and lips swell and they take the shape of round marks as shaped by blow of a whip which is often red in color.
Owing to these marks Shauna is unable to go outside and enjoy regular life, unlike others. People comment on her as ‘contagious’ or ‘horrible’. They think these marks as ‘ringworm’ and thus make her embarrassed. Shauna is even unable to look at herself in the mirror because of this disease.
Shauna is a loan advisor and it is affecting her work which she eventually left as she had to take a lot of naps during work. She has even stopped wearing skirts which make these signs visible but even then people glance at her and asks her to take antihistamine but she took steroids and the situation even got worse.
Shauna is going to be a bridesmaid at her father’s wedding but she fears if the condition prevails she will not be able to attend the wedding.point 241 |
