It’s easy to take one’s friends for granted especially when one grows up and gets busy at work or raising a family but nothing can take the place of having trustworthy friends that you can call your own when the chips fall down.
They had been saving up money for months and pooled their resources just so they could buy her the car. Of course, it’s not a Ferrari or Porsche and it’s likely a used car, but it still represents a significant investment in resources and speaks volumes of how highly this group of friends thinks of each member.
The girl first screams, then laughs, then, seemingly overwhelmed with emotion, just curls up on the ground, crying with joy. And no one can really blame her because can you honestly say you wouldn’t react the same way if you woke up on your birthday to find a car in your garage, courtesy of your friends?
But the significance of this event goes beyond the material value of the gift that was given. Many kids beg their parents for their first car so it’s a really big deal to get one. Of course, we can only assume that the girl’s parents gave their blessing for their daughter to be gifted something so valuable but the fact that her friends were willing to go the extra mile to make this happen means they must be true friends at heart.
