An 8-year-old girl was lured from a bus stop by a convicted pedophile child murderer only a few days after he was released from his 20-year jail term.
The sex attacker and killer approached the girl in Russia and said that he was a cop. He walked up to her and said that her parents were waiting for her at the police station. He also told her that he could take her to them.
The footage showed the man grabbing the girl’s hand and walking her along different streets looking for a hidden place to rape her, according to detectives.
A law enforcement source told Plus Inform newspaper: “The girl began to cry.
“The accused man failed to calm her and tried to scare her. He hit her in the abdomen with his fist. The child began to cry louder.
“Her cries attracted the attention of a few men (at the filling station). One of them reprimanded the accused man, so he fled.”
Fortunately, the girl was saved from a horrifying sex attack and potential murder, according to sources. Cops were called and they were able to identify the pedo and child killer from CCTV footage.
The man was detained in Kyzyl, capital of Tyva in Siberia.
“We sat down here, on these very concrete blocks,” he admitted. “I tried to calm her, using words, I was not using violence at first on her. So I made her sit here, on these concrete blocks.”
The man served 20 years in jail for killing an underage girl in 1998. He is now accused of attempting to rape a girl and can be jailed for up to 20 years.
