11-year-old Girl Called 999 But Was Scared To Tell Anything – Operator Knew Something Was Wrong After They Heard Shouting In The Background


A disturbed 11-year-old girl called 999 on Channel 5’s Police: Hour of Duty after finding her parents arguing and shouting at each other.

The 11-year-old girl called 999 numerous times and when the emergency operator called back while reviewing the calls, the distressed girl said she didn’t mean to call them.

The emergency operator knew something was wrong so she kept asking the little girl questions who was trying to hide something.

When the operator asks the girl if everything is alright, she says: “Yes, it’s ok.”

The operator says: “You sound upset, what’s happened?”, to which she replies: “It doesn’t matter.”

When the operator says she just wants to make sure that she is alright and nothing is wrong with her, the girl says: “I don’t really know what, I’ve got to go and I’m sorry for calling you.”

When the operator asks the girl who is shouting in the background, the girl tries to cover up saying her parents are just talking but they sound loud.

The operator asks the girl to let her talk to her mother who says she was just having an argument with her husband.

Meanwhile, a man calls 999 and says he’s been stabbed by his wife.

The man said: “Can I have the police, please? Yeah, I’ve been stabbed by the wife.”

A colleague tells the operator: “I’ve just had a call from the husband and on playback it said, I could hear him; ‘Please, please, I’ve been stabbed by my wife.’ And I could hear the same female crying in the background.”

The operator says they were sending help to make sure everyone was okay.

Later, it turned out that the husband and wife were having an argument and the terrified girl called 999.

The wife stabbed her husband and the girl was too afraid to tell anything to the emergency operator.
