Denying the request, US District Court Judge Alison Nathan pointed to the fact that the jail has been granting her a very loose control, as she was given 13 hours a day, seven days a week to go through her legal defense materials.point 300 |
“Should facts on the ground change such that the Defendant is not being provided sufficient access to her legal materials, defense counsel may seek intervention by the Court,” the judge wrote.point 174 | The judge also rejected Maxwell’s earlier request to modify prison surveillance, claiming she was secretly being observed and analysed by psychologists.point 312 |
