Gears of War is a popular 2006 computer game.
Rumors and hints have been lingering since then that a movie based on the game will release soon. But the wait doesn’t seem to be over yet as the development stage of the movie is not changing.
A fan took to Twitter and asked if the movie has got green signal and if Dave Bautista will play its character. To which Dave replied that he had tried everything to make it happen and thanked the fan for their support. He also wrote that Hollywood is listening to fans demands.
Terry Crews had also revealed earlier that he is keen to star in the Gears of War alongside Bautista.
The Twitter thread started with actor Stephen Ford’s tweet regarding making the movie, and the post got more than 2,500 likes. Terry Crews replied to his tweet that he liked the idea that too very much. Bautista joined in to reveal he would be happy to join Crews in not this but any movie.
The actors’ bromance was well received by fans who are demanding for the movie to be made with Crews and Bautista. The fans even went on to comment that Bautista was born for playing the role of Marcus and Crews for Cole Train.
A fan noted that Gears of War would be like The Expendables but with mutants.
