Gary Sinise Sent More Than 1,000 Children Of Fallen Servicemen To Walt Disney World For A Five-Day Vacation


Actor Gary Sinise partnered with American Airlines and sent 1,750 relatives of military heroes to celebrate Christmas at Walt Disney World.

More than 1000 children of fallen soldiers with their family members have flown to Orlando on the Snowball Express for a five-day free vacation at Walt Disney World hosted by The Gary Sinise Foundation partnered with American Airlines.

The Gary Sinise Foundation said on its website: ‘The holidays can be especially challenging for grieving families. Each December, we host a five-day experience for 1,750+ children of the fallen and their surviving parent or guardian.’

‘As a therapeutic retreat with a blend of fun and inspiring programs, these families can lean on their peers for support. And this year we’re bringing Snowball Express to Walt Disney World Resort!’

Pictures from the vacation are going viral on the Internet where hundreds of children enjoying Walt Disney World.

Sinise also posed with them and shared the pictures on his Twitter account with the caption: ‘Today begins our GSF Snowball Express #14. Over 1000 Gold Star Children travel with surviving parent or guardian, over 1,750 in all, via our travel partner @AmericanAir to Disney World as part of our @GarySiniseFound Snowball Express program.’

Every December, the Gary Sinise Foundation hosts a five-day trip for 1,750+ children of the fallen and their surviving parent or guardian. The Gary Sinise Foundation was founded in 2011 by Gary Sinise.
