Gabby Petito’s Dad Reveals How His Daughter Is Saving Lives By Influencing People Trapped In Toxic Relationships


Gabby Petito’s grieving dad has spoken out to pay a tribute to his daughter and reveal how she is saving lives after her passing.

Taking to Twitter to share his emotional message, Joseph Petito suggested numerous people reached out to the family to tell them that Gabby’s story inspired them to walk out on their toxic partners and potentially avoid a similar fate as the 22-year-old van-life girl.

“She is already saving lives. So many stories being sent to us about relationships being left with proper planning for safety, and people are being found due to her influence. We have much more work to do, but it’s a start,” Mr. Petito wrote in his Saturday tweet.

Shortly after his tweet appeared on the platform, hundreds of people influenced by the young traveler came forward and shared their own stories.

“I’m not sure if you’ll ever read this, but after your daughter’s case became public I found the courage to leave my narcissistic and abusive relationship. She truly is saving lives continuously sending my love and prayers to you all. I’m sorry nobody was there to save her,” someone wrote.

“I’m writing to you from faraway part of Middle East, Iran. I just a left a very damaging relationship recently because of Gabby. Sending your family lots of love and I’m sure Gabby’s watching over those who need help. She’s a true angel,” another said.

One person expressed: “I found the strength I needed after 10 long years… realizing this could have been me. GOD NEEDED GABBY IN HEAVEN MORE THAN WE DID ON EARTH.”

Petito’s viral post comes as Gabby’s mother, Nichole Schmidt, spoke out and demanded Brian Laundrie turn himself in.

“Mama bear is getting angry! Turn yourself in! 🤬 @josephpetito agrees. #justiceforgabby #americasdaughter,” Schmidt wrote in her first Twitter post.
