With the constant barrage of negative news on major networks, it’s something that is easy to forget. But this story is definitely one of those that will raise your spirits no matter what!

It was February 23, 2017 in Willmar, Minnesota and the furnace had just broke in the Hulscher family’s home. Under most circumstances, this would only require the family bundle more at night and hunker down until the furnace could get repaired.

But Willmar, Minnesota wasn’t even getting above freezing and Jesse and Maria Hulscher needed a fix urgently. This put both into a frenzy as they tried to set up a repairman who could repair their furnace as soon as possible.

The rush was necessary because just one day earlier, not even 24 hours previously, Maria had given birth to the couple’s second child.point 161 | With a newborn soon to come home and a 2-year-old baby at home, they desperately needed the house to be warm for the incoming Minnesota snowstorm.point 282 |

So Jesse began on this gigantic task and he began to flip through the yellow pages desperately trying to find a repairman. For every call, under his breath, Jesse was secretly praying that they would be able to send a repairman on such short notice. Tragically, this prayer went unheard for the first dozen or so calls.

It seemed like this was the end of their saga, but then a couple of days later the invoice from Magnuson Sheet Metal showed up in their mailbox. Absolutely no one wants to see bills in their mailbox, but when Jesse and Maria looked at the invoice they couldn’t believe what they saw. Check the video to below to see what their receipt said!

The Hulscher family were so taken aback by this that they immediately called up their news station to share this inspirational story. However this isn’t the first time that Magnuson Sheet Metal has done something like this. They’ve been known to forgive small bills on holidays or for families that are in need. The company never uses these charitable moments for its own publicity though.
