Lake Michigan is one amongst such lakes that are frozen for almost the entire winters.
Yes, they look beautiful but they also become a little scary and a lot more dangerous because ice has no surety of keeping stable for long enough to be able to support the weight of a human or anything else.
It is not just lakes that are frozen, there are mountains and highlands that are covered in ice in winters. But thankfully, the waters do not have to stay the same way throughout the year because hey, spring is almost here.
With the arrival of spring days, Lake Michigan has started melting a little from the inside.
This has resulted in the breaking of the top and the inner layers of ice and now the face of the lake is giving out stunning imagery.
This imagery is boggling the mind of people with its serene beauty.
Although it makes people want to go near the lake and watch the ice from a little closer, the coast guards are not in favor of the same.
The coast guards of the lakes has asked the people to stay away from the lake and watch it from afar. They state that it is not a great idea to go near any unstable piece of ice or land that can land any human or animal life in trouble.
So how did it form? Well, the water under the sheets started flowing and pushed the sheets of ice in this wonderful pattern.
The phenomenon is so attractive to eyes that it is demanding for people to come closer. On the same, the coast guard said that the ice is unsafe. For now, it is deteriorating and breaking.
