29-year-old Latoya Wimberly and 31-year-old Ashley Thomas were often told they looked like sisters. They even got pregnant for the first time at the same time by two brothers.

When Ashley shared pictures of herself with Latoya from her engagement ceremony on Facebook, her late mother’s best friend told her she knew Latoya’s dad Kenneth.

Latoya then asked her father to take a DNA test after he told them he had a brief relationship with Ashley’s mother Michelle.

When Kenneth took a DNA test, he learned that he was Ashley’s father. Latoya immediately called Ashley and told her that they are sisters.

Latoya said: “Then I immediately called Ashley. I always looked up to Ashley as if she was a big sister. We always heard, “you look so alike”.”

48-year-old Kenneth said he was unaware that Ashley’s mother was pregnant after their brief relationship when they were teenagers.
