Wild horses are often used in the movies to make the scene more cinematic by the filmmakers. Horses as creatures are attractive and royals have always used them as their rides for both traveling and entertainment.
They are also versatile at the same time and have a unique quality of settling themselves in any new environment they are introduced to.
This is precisely why you can witness wild horses even at places where they originally never existed. Patagonian horses are one of the best examples to state in this context.
Wild horses can be found in the United States in many of its states, but Nevada is one place where they are present in much abundance.
Horses usually lack a natural predator, and that’s the reason behind their massive population around the country, but in some regions where Puma’s are present, Patagonian horses do struggle.
The life of young and weak Patagonian horses is in much danger. Patagonian horses in the past have suffered because of their presence within the radar of a hungry Puma.
Puma’s presence in the same region as young horses has always proven to be deadly for them. But this is also how Patagonian horses tend to become strong and bold.
But is not only a wild cat like Puma that puts these wild horses on the spot, at times they get stuck in nasty situations and it becomes essential for someone to intervene or else they would keep suffering.
Recently, a group of friends rescued a horse that was stuck in the fence. The horse’s back leg got stuck. Hugo Matinez who saw the horse first was traveling across the countryside in Rio Negro region of Argentina.
The horse made efforts, but all of them were futile and couldn’t manage to set him free. The group of friends managed to set his leg free after untangling the complicated fence.
The animal didn’t have a realization during that moment that he had been set free, but it was a few smacks later that he made the efforts of getting up and was finally on his way after seeing the group of men who were standing behind him.
