A four-bedroom home in Louisiana, US is available for free but no one wants the house because of the creepy and chilling stories that the previous owners and locals shared.
The owners of the haunted house are unable to find buyers even though they are ready to give it away completely free.
The four-bedroom home, which was built in the 1930s, claimed to be haunted as one former resident claimed the house is haunted by her great grandmother.
Former resident Dawn Vallot DeClout told that her great grandmother Adele used to live in the house.
She died in 1967 when she was 90.
Dawn said: “We believe [Adele] is the ghost, but she’s not menacing at all. She was probably like 4ft 9in and weighed about 100lb.”
“She lived to be almost 90 and she was always digging in the pots, like when you have something on the stove and someone goes and looks in the pot and stirs it around.”
Dawn said they would hear her all the time jangling the pots and picking up the lid when they had something on the stove.
When Sylvia McLain, a co-owner of McLain Investments, shared pictures of the haunted house and told that it is up for grabs for free, formers residents started sharing their creepy stories in the comment section.
One said the house is haunted as they experienced strange things that could not be explained in the house while they lived there.
They said one of their friends, who also lived there, experienced the same things.
While another said they heard a lot of weird noises when they visited the house.
Sylvia admits she has also heard chilling stories about the house and she is afraid she may not be able to find any buyer for the house as locals and previous owners are constantly sharing the stories about the haunted house.
