For alcohol lovers, the motivation to pass through this long and dark tunnel of coronavirus lockdown would be a glass of their favorite alcohol.
If you are not amongst the lucky ones who stored alcohol before the lockdown, do not worry.
BrewDog will be offering a free beer to everyone post lockdown. The Scottish pub and brewery chain has pledged to buy all of us beers when we finally cross the tunnel.
To claim your free beer, you only have to register on the BrewDog website with an email address and you will be provided with a voucher code.
After you have claimed the voucher code, it can be utilized to get a schooner (66.67% of pint) of the Punk AF (a 0.5% ABV beer) or draught Punk IPA for free in BrewDog pub in Germany, Ireland, the U.K., Spain, and France, wherever the chain is open.
The co-founder of BrewDog, James Watt said that everyone has been in the middle of the biggest crisis in living memory.
He added that BrewDog believed in the capability of the community and that beer had always been successful in bringing everyone together.
He further added that in these challenging times, no one should feel alone because everyone stands together more than ever.
He announced that they wanted to ensure that when the lockdown period was over, whether the customers are in Berlin or Aberdeen, they can celebrate with their family and friends over a beer.
Then he ended by saying that until then, everyone should try to remain home, safe, and take care of one another.
BrewDog started making its own hand sanitizers last month and distributed them for free to help contain the spread of COVID-19.
James noted that they had lost 70% of their revenues but had been trying to adapt so that they can save jobs, survive through the lockdown, and use their resources differently.
BrewDog’s distillery is being used to make sanitizers and apart from giving them away, its team members were given some bottles so that they can continue stacking up the supermarket shelves with its beer.
