Four people tragically died when Trump supporters invaded the US Capitol on Wednesday.
Ashli Babbitt, a 35-year-old air force veteran, was fatally shot by Capitol police after she and other invaders stormed into the building.
Benjamin Phillips, 50, from Pennsylvania, Kevin Greeson, 55, from Alabama, and Roseanne Boyland, 34, from Georgia all died during the protest.
Boyland was reportedly “trampled in the Rotunda,” her grieving family said to Daily Mail. Police were seen performing CPR on her after she fell to the ground. She was rushed to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Her family said that it was the first Trump event she attended after being emboldened by the president’s speech.
“She just really just believed in Trump and that’s it,” her family said.
“This was her first one. She wasn’t even supposed to go… we all didn’t want her to go. She was hanging back and then after the speech yesterday…
“They’re still working on [the details]. Someone said she was trampled, others said she collapsed…. we’re still trying to figure it out.”
Greeson suffered a heart attack “in the midst of the excitement,” his heartbroken family said.
His son announced the devastating news on Facebook, writing: “My dad had a heart attack yesterday and sadly passed away. We all loved him so much.
“He was such a great man we all miss you so much. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.”
Greeson’s grieving family said in a statement: “Kevin had a history of high blood pressure, and in the midst of the excitement, suffered a heart attack.
“Our family is devastated.
“We are thankful for all of the thoughts and prayers and appreciate privacy at this time as we grieve.”
Phillips, a computer programmer who founded the website Trumparoo, suffered a stroke during the attack on the Capitol.
