Podcaster and journalist Katie Harper released one audio clip on Wednesday morning of her interview with Tara Reade, and ex-staff assistant to Biden, in which Reade claimed that in 1993, Joe Biden sexually assaulted her.

The story began with Reade being instructed to bring a gym bad to Joe Biden. Upon reaching Biden, then-senator, with the gym bag, Reade claimed that he first greeted her by her name and then sexually assaulted her in the side area.

She said that they were alone and described it as the strangest thing. She added that there was no exchange and he had her up against the wall.

She then described that his hands were on her and then under her clothes. Then, he went down her skirt and penetrated her with his fingers.

Tara Reade alleged that Joe was kissing her and was asking her if she wished to go somewhere else. She revealed that after the alleged sexual assault got over, Joe told her that he had heard she liked him.

Tara then told Harper that Joe’s alleged phrase clung to her, as it made her think regarding what she could have said.

Tara confessed that later she was shaking and trying to understand what had happened as well as what she should say.

When Katie asked Tara if she wanted to talk about what she claimed Biden said, she said that she was reluctant as it was something that stayed in her head. However, she told Katie that Biden said she was nothing to him and repeated that she was fine.

Harper noted that there were no witnesses to the assault at the beginning of the clip but only Tara’s close friend and brother recalled her talking about that incident.
