As a teenager, Michael had written and released Quantum, his comic book, which he was highly proud of. Michael loved exploring and holidaying, competing in and hosting pub quizzes, collecting Marvel memorabilia, cricket, and NFL Americal football.
Hayley Barnett, Chief Superintendent of Derbyshire Constabulary said that Mike was a respected and well-liked member of their Derbyshire policing family and would be missed by his colleagues.
