New Footage Shows 17-Year-Old Gunman Shooting First Victim Before Running Away


New footage shows the 17-year-old gunman charged with the killing of two BLM protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin shooting a 36-year-old father before running away.

Kyle Rittenhouse was arrested at his Illinois home after taking the lives of two Black Lives Matter demonstrators in Kenosha, where riots have been raging for many nights over the shooting of Jacob Blake.

Police Chief Daniel Miskinis said in a press conference: “Last night, in a situation that began peaceful and turned somewhat unruly … persons who were out after the curfew became engaged in some type of disturbance and persons were shot.

“Had persons not been out involved in violation of that, perhaps the situation that unfolded would not have happened.”

Joseph Rosenbaum, 36

The two victims have been identified as Anthony Huber, 26, and Joseph Rosenbaum, 36. The injured person, 26-year-old Gaige Grosskreutz, was expected to survive.

A new video shows how the ordeal occurred after the first victim was shot outside an auto garage. Rosenbaum, a father-of-one, is photographed on the ground while the teen stands nearby.

The footage shows Rittenhouse running away and could be heard saying: “I’ve just killed somebody.”

The second and third shootings then occurred after protesters tried to chase the teen.

In another view, witnesses were filmed trying to apply pressure on the injured man’s head as they screamed: “Put pressure, put pressure!” and “We’ve got to keep him alive!”

It is not clear what caused the initial shooting but police said it may have stemmed from a conflict between ‘self-styled militias’ protecting local stores from arsonists and looters.

The shooting of 29-year-old Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin has sparked protests against racism and police brutality.

He was shot multiple times as he walked to his car where three of his six children watched in horror, said civil rights attorney Ben Crump. The incident comes three months after George Floyd died in Minneapolis.
