“So this photo was taken last week in the Pizza Hut beside the bus station in Inverness,” Paul wrote on Facebook.

“As you can see they are using it as a storage room for pizza trays, where they cook stuff on, this is very unhygienic and could make people sick. Share it, need to let people know not to order Pizza that’s come from a p***y tray!”

According to the Highland Council, the authorities haven’t received any official complaint about the incident. However, they confirmed they urged Paul to get in reach with the health department.

Following the social media backlash, Pizza Hut representative has spoken out and admitted stacking food trays next to a toilet. However, they went on to claim that the food trays weren’t being used for food any longer and that they were stored in the makeshift storage room while awaiting removal.
