Boiling eggs the traditional way is always the best thing to do especially after witnessing an incidence where a 22 year old almost ended up in a dreadful situation.
The 22 year old, identified as Bethany was finding out different ways to boil eggs and that’s when on the website called Delish she read about the easiest way of boiling eggs in a microwave.
Bethany had already done quite a bit of research on the internet trying to understand the techniques to boil the eggs in microwave and finally ended up following the instructions from Delish.
The lady followed the same procedure as mentioned in the website but unfortunately, when she opened the door of the microwave the eggs that were kept for boiling in a mug came bursting in her face. She said it was one of the most dangerous things to happen.
The incidence has been quite a disgusting thing because of the pain and also the scar that would soon not disappear from Bethany’s face any time soon. Her right side of the face got completely burnt during the incidence leaving her in a state of trauma and pain.
She immediately dialed 999 and even before the paramedic’s team appeared her skin had undergone a serious damage and the skin was peeling too. Out of pain, Bethany splashed water to get face and found that her skin was burning badly and was also peeling off.
She is now undergoing treatment in the Queens Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. When she called she was immediately rushed to the burn unit of the hospital where the initial treatment happened.
Well, wouldn’t it be a dangerous thing for something boiling at 600w burst right in the face unexpectedly like this. It’s always good to stay away from experimenting with things that are unknown and as mentioned in the websites.
Despite adding salt to the water and the eggs and letting it cool for 6 to 8.minutes as mentioned in Delish the eggs still bursted. So, we need to make sure to stay out of such things and try the simple and old methods of using pans to boil eggs, isn’t it?
