The coronavirus outbreak had caused havoc all over America, and other nations.
Because the cure for the disease has not been discovered yet, the affected nations are finding it difficult to control the spread and have resorted to complete lockdown.
Lockdowns mean supply may be limited and people cannot go out of their homes without any reason. As a result, people are stocking up food items, toilet paper rolls, and other grocery items.
Recently, a Florida man was arrested after he was accused of stealing 66 toilet paper rolls from a hotel in the Orlando area.
Angel Hernandezcinto was charged with the theft from the hotel as per online arrest records and has committed a third-degree felony.
As per the reports, he was spotted by a security guard at Marriott Hotel in Orlando’s tourism district on World Center Drive pushing a garbage bin towards his van.
Angel allegedly put the large trash can inside his van and then walked back into the Marriott Hotel. The guard decided to peek inside the van and noticed a bag, which was stuffed with unused loo rolls that he believed were the hotel’s belongings.
He alerted the hotel and they called the police. Angel then admitted to taking sixty-six loo rolls which were priced at $0.99 each.
As per the arrest report, Angel told the guard that he was doing so to help his unemployed friend’s family. Then, he even apologized.
The thirty-one-year-old worked as the hotel’s cleaner. Angel was booked and released from jail on Thursday morning. The online records do not reveal the bond that Angel paid or a lawyer authorized to speak for him. Also, he has not entered a plea as of yet.
