Traveling off the beaten path is often a prelude to a wonderful adventure.

It can take you places that are in stark contrast to your everyday urban lifestyle and that’s one way to recharge and get a renewed perspective about life. After all, being too focused on your computer screen can make you forget that there’s a wider world out there with a lot of beautiful things to appreciate.

But going off the beaten path is not only figurative, but it can also be literal as well and will bring you that much closer to Nature. People can go on long trips on foot or they may use off-road vehicles in order to better appreciate this planet that all of us call home.

However, going off on those wild adventures also carries its own risk. Because you would typically find yourself in rural areas far from modern civilization, any minor sickness or injury can quickly lead to something more serious if the proper treatment is not immediately available or you simply don’t know what to do.

Then there’s also the local wildlife. You never really know what’s going through the minds of wild animals. They could see you as a threat, as a curiosity to investigate, or even as prey. Whatever it may be, it’s always advisable to give them a wide berth.

But one driver in Nepal discovered that even domesticated animals can display pretty odd behavior although this one had a hilarious result.

Nischal Devkota was on holiday in Dolpa, Nepal, when he happened upon a vehicle that got stuck after a herd of sheep got startled and started running in circles around the car. Sheep tend to follow the leader but it seems that they were all just following each other as they ended up going in a continuous circle around the vehicle.

It was too hilarious not to capture on video so Nischal whipped out his phone and pressed the record button.

Nischal said: “We were there for the vacation and shot this hilarious clip of sheep going round and round on the same path trapping a car inside this sheep tornado.

“One sheep started it all when it saw something it could eat in front of the car and it went for it.

“A bus came and eventually dispersed the sheep.”
