A flight radar photographed the moment when there was not a single plane flying above in the UK.

With the entire country in lockdown, a majority of airlines are grounded, resulting in the sky to be remarkably clearer.

On Easter at 11:45 pm, the sky over the UK was completely devoid of any planes, as we can see in the image captured from flightradar24 by Paul Mc Taggart, a flight enthusiast.

The only aircraft, that was seen above was the Cargolux Boeing 747 over the North Sea, which seemed to be enroute from the US to an unknown European destination.

McTaggart lives near Winchester and likes to monitor air traffic across the world as his hobby. This is why he managed to capture this rare and incredible moment.

EuroControl, last month shared a video that showed reduced air traffic as a consequence of the coronavirus outbreak.

The footage displayed the number of airborne flights in bright dots and compared what the sky looked on Sunday, March 29 this year against what it looked on Sunday, March 31, 2019.

On March 29, 2020, there were approximately 350 flights, which may seem a lot, but it is not compared to the normal air traffic. Last year at the same, there were 3,000 flights. This shows how much the pandemic has impacted the lives of people around the world.

The video clip was shared on Reddit, where people were quite surprised to learn that there are so many planes above at the same time. People said even 350 seemed like a lot of flights.

A person whose girlfriend is a flight attendant said that this is true that the traffic has been considerably reduced and flights sometimes only have 10 people, which is less than what we see in a grocery store.
