A lot of the tweets were aimed at ‘white people.’ At the same time, there were quite a few racist references aimed at both Mexicans as well as Chinese.

For this reason, the star hammer thrower came on air to justify her behavior on Sunday through her Twitter account. And that’s when she tried to defend her past tweets.

Critics called her out for the tasteless jokes which many felt were totally uncalled for. But the star claims that she shouldn’t be judged upon those tweets right now, especially since they’re more than a decade old.

Moreover, Gwen Berry went about declaring how the digging up of her past posts was totally related to allegations that went against Brett Kavanaugh. The latter was nominated by the Supreme Court in the year 2018 relating to accusations about how he sexually assaulted women during the 1980s.

“I’m just going to say that I can totally relate to the Supreme Court’s Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Similarly, I’d like to agree about how there is plenty of s**t that I simply do not do now, but may have done so in the past,” she went on to claim.

Gwen Berry sparked mega controversy last week when she turned her back on the country’s national anthem and flag. In the same way, she also went about terming the country’s anthem as highly offensive for the Black community.

And just in case that was not enough, the Olympian also spoke about how the entire thing was planned to defame her as the anthem was purposefully played at a specific time.
