Berry who is a member of the American Olympian squad and ranks high as a hammer thrower sparked great fury recently when she turned away while the American National Anthem was being played. The incident reportedly took place during a trials sporting event for track and field.
Now, local media outlets are confirming news about how she is being sponsored by ‘Color of Change.’ This a left-wing-based group that thoroughly supports the ‘Defund the Police’ movement.
Morover, Color of Change has also reportedly sponsored the US Olympian since the start of last September, with full claims of support throughout the end of this year too. Therefore, it was not surprising for many critics to witness the sheer amount of support and applause she received for her bold stance.
