A fitness fanatic has gone viral after recording himself chugging down large 4,000-calorie meals each day.

Blake Horton from Paramus, New Jersey, is a fitness lover whose passion for workout didn’t stop him from enjoying delicious, fatty meals.

Since the 34-year-old fitness enthusiast has a chiseled body, one wouldn’t expect him to eat 4,000 calories in a single meal.

Unlike most gym-goers, Blake doesn’t stick to a strict diet and loves to eat monster meals filled with junk foods late in the night.

From large pizzas to burgers and French fries, the 34-year-old revealed how he dumped the idea of having three balanced meals per day. Instead, he eats only one time a day and makes sure to enjoy that meal to the fullest.

“It’s like you’re an unchaperoned child in the kitchen allowed to make whatever you want and that’s what it’s like. Adults forget to have fun with food a lot of the time,” the fitness fanatic, who has over 160,000 followers on Instagram, shared.

As Blake added, previous diets helped him lose excess weight but also made him feel miserable.

“My social life was gone, I remember standing in the kitchen one night and being like ‘Is this what you’ve got to do to keep abs?’” he recalled.

“My friends would call me to go out and it would be like 10pm and I had no calories left to spend to go out drinking and having fun, so I was like ‘ah no I’ll stay in.’ I was constantly staring at the clock waiting for my next meal, I was hungry all the time.”

Fortunately for the man, however, he discovered intermittent fasting and limited his daily calorie intake to one single, large meal.

“I save up all my calories and spend them all in one shot. Where regular people eat three meals a day, I get all my nutrients, carbs, fats, proteins, micro nutrients, fiber, everything all in that one big monster meal,” Blake added.

“I enjoy myself a lot more now, and my health is perfect. I haven’t had an unenjoyable meal in the longest time. People ask ‘Do you enjoy this, why would I do it if I didn’t enjoy it?’

“Eating one meal a day is a godsend – I no longer get hungry so it’s like I’m completely free.”

Striking back at people who call his diet unhealthy, the 34-year-old said:

“A lot of my meals don’t look healthy to the untrained human eye, but I focus on getting the proper macro and micro nutrients.

“I believe that’s where health comes from rather than eating clean, you can eat clean all you want and you can end up hitting nutritional blind spots and being unhealthy.”
