The first British man to be tested for the virus that has kept the medics around the world scared for days, coronavirus speaks out how he was kept quarantined and how it felt in the condition.
The 27 years old man who had been traveling said that he had just come back to his home via Australia from China and Bangkok.
He said, “I was the only one not wearing a mask at the airport because they had run out of the masks at the airport and I had to board the flight.”
He said, “I was feeling weak so I thought I had the flu but then again, I took it that I was jetlagged.”
“When I was in Australia, my family and I was evacuated twice because of the fire so I even considered that it must be the smoke that is causing the cough.”
Although he was not well, he went in for work the same day he had come back even though he was asked to walk through the temperature scanner twice when he was still at the airport.
He had dozed off on his flight and when he had landed at Heathrow he found no checks.
While he was sleeping at the night he felt terribly ill and was sweating so he called up the hospital and went in for a checkup where he told the doctor that he had just returned from China.
Right then, the doctor took him by hand, to the backside of the hospital and then took him through a secret passage to a room where there was a bed.
He was so sick that he curled up in the bed while the medics keep studying him from the opposite side of the glass wall. They kept on sticking notes on the glass until he was tested and the result came out negative.
