Right from the release of The Mandalorian by Disney, people have fallen in love with Baby Yoda.
And they are right in doing that, the thing is so loveable.
The good news is, you can now own your own Baby Yoda, just like the one featured in the Star Wars spin-off, made as a stuffed toy by Build-A-Bear Workshop.
The toymaker says on its website that Baby Yoda is a “loveable alien” and is “sure to bring bountiful hugs for fans who can’t get enough of this mysterious species.”
The toy is not yet available for sale but if you are genuinely interested in getting one, you can sign up to receive email updates to know when the stuffed toy is up for sale.
Responding to Build-A-Bear’s post about the upcoming Baby Yoda toy, a fan said: “I can’t wait! My kids are going to flip! Bring us the child! #BabyYoda #TheChild #Mandalorian #buildabearworkshop #StarWarsfan.”
Another admirer of the cute species added: “I will be the first in line. This is the way,” with yet another suggesting: “Please tell me that you’re going to be limiting purchases of these in-store and online.”
Build-A-Bear has not yet revealed how much the toy will cost but if you are looking for an economical way to own one, you can get it from Target in the United States.
Target is taking pre-orders for Hasbro’s version of the species for just under $10.
Target also has a plush toy, a posable action figure, a Funko POP Figure, and a whole range of other Mandalorian merch up for pre-orders in case you happen to be a big Star Wars fan.
However, don’t get your hopes too high as the release date of all this stuff on Target is expected to be May 4. (Yes you guessed it right, “May the fourth be with you.”)
You gotta do something with your time as you sit there waiting for all the Mandalorian stuff to roll out – luckily, you can. A number of fans have been forcing the emoji makers to include the Baby Yoda in smartphone emoji libraries.
A Change.org petition has been started for that and it has already amassed above 65,000 signatures.
It reads: “I think Baby Yoda should be an emoji. He stole our hearts and now I want him to steal our keyboard space. Your friend shares a pic of her new born baby?
“Respond with a cute little Baby Yoda emoji to show that you think her little rascal is cute beyond words.
“You’re sick and your mom texts you ‘do you want some soup?’ Respond back with a cute little Baby Yoda to show her that your thirst for soup is insatiable.
“Join me into this movement and let your voices be heard.
“WE WANT BABY YODA EMOJI!!! Follow me @travbryanmusic on Instagram for updates on petition and my Mandalorian theme song ‘This Is The Way.’”
